Hi, my name is Ben (that's my mug, at the top). For my entire adult life, my calling has been to impact health. Although I love and respect the healthcare system and all of the people in it, after working in healthcare for more than a decade, I realized the most important thing to your health, outside of breathing air and drinking water, is what you eat - almost all doctors, dietitians, and personal trainers I know or have spoken with agree with that.
But, no "diet" is teaching you how to listen to your body and eat mindfully - they're all just selling a restrictive program. Sometimes it's partially customized or "personalized" (a very popular buzzword), but that's more expensive. And, as soon as your life changes, either by becoming a mother, having a new job, or simply wanting a change, the old plan doesn't work and you need to start from scratch - and pay a lot again.
Yet, if you listen to your body, you naturally do what makes your body feel best and you feel the best you can about your body. And, when it comes time to make a change, you feel it, do it; that's what I see when I look at people who have lived for 30, 40, or 50 years and who enjoy the benefits of health. They don't demonize indulgence, but relish it and know when too much makes them feel worse, not better.
That's why I am so excited to share with you the wisdom of finding your way, with the best nutrition experts (Dietitians, many pictured above), so you can start your path through the noisy world of "diet" culture with a calm confidence, knowing that you know how to
listen to your body, for life.
